For me, it’s a no-brainer. Handmade, cold-processed, natural soap is beautiful to look at, to smell, to use, and a joy to make.

In looking for ways to reduce my footprint on the world, I rediscovered the world of soap bars in 2020.
Gone are the plastic bottles of soap, shower gel and shampoo. Now I only need a bar of soap by the sink. There’s no plastic wrapping here, and very little waste.
I use only natural ingredients to colour and scent my soaps. I avoid unsustainable oils like palm oil, and I’m working to source more organic oils and fats and those with fewer air miles.
In February 2022 I became a member of the Guild of Craft Soap & Toiletry Makers.
